Panthers 2013 Season Highlighted By Increased Attendance And Other Positive Business Trends

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today the Florida Panthers’ 2013 season has been highlighted by increased home game attendance at the BB&T Center and a number of other positive business trends including single game ticket sales, group ticket sales and more.
 


Through 15 home games this season, the Cats are averaging 16,956 fans per game at the BB&T Center, an 8.4-percent increase over the same number of games last season.
 


In addition to the increased attendance, single game ticket sales for Panthers home games are up 83-percent over last season, while group sales are up 7-percent and concession sales are up 17-percent.
 


“The increased attendance and other positive trends are a testament to the passion of our fans and the excitement that Panthers hockey has created over the last 18 months,” said Panthers President Michael R. Yormark. “We are absolutely thrilled that more than halfway through this shortened season, we have already seen marked growth in a number of our key areas.”
 


The Panthers captured their first Southeast Division Championship during the 2011-12 NHL season and have an incredibly bright future with the top group of young prospects in the NHL including forward Jonathan Huberdeau, defenseman Erik Gudbranson, goaltender Jacob Markstrom and forward Drew Shore.
