One Lucky Fan to Win Trip to June 30 Draft in N.J. as Panthers Fan Ambassador
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Panthers “You Make the Pick” promotion presented by JetBlue will return for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft with the Cats holding the No. 2 overall pick.
With “You Make the Pick”, fans can “advise” the organization as to who the Panthers should choose with the second overall pick in the Draft, with one randomly chosen grand prize winner and their guest receiving a trip (round trip airfare courtesy of JetBlue and accommodations) to New Jersey for the NHL Entry Draft on Sunday, June 30.
The winners will also receive a meet and greet opportunity with Panthers hockey operations staff including General Manager Dale Tallon, and exclusive access to the Panthers prospect chosen with the number two pick.
“We want Panthers fans and the South Florida community to feel excited and involved in the process leading up to our first round pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft,” said SSE President Michael R. Yormark. “Thanks to our wonderful partners at JetBlue, one lucky fan will receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get behind-the-scenes at the upcoming Draft.”
“You Make the Pick” presented by JetBlue runs from today until Saturday, June 15, with the contest winner announced on FloridaPanthers.com and through Panthers social media outlets.
In addition to a trip to the Draft in New Jersey and access to the Panthers draft process, the winner will also act as fan ambassador and be part of a media push through FloridaPanthers.com and social media to determine what Panthers fans want out of the second overall pick. Following the draft, they will join the Panthers draft pick in South Florida for an exclusive Season Seat Owner meet-and-greet.
