Panthers and FOX Sports Announce 78-Game TV Schedule
78 games will be broadcast in HD on FOX Sports Florida including Panthers 20th Anniversary-themed broadcasts
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment and FOX Sports Florida jointly announced today the Florida Panthers’ 2013-2014 NHL regular season broadcast schedule featuring 78 games broadcast in HD on the network – the most since 1999.
To kick off their 20th Anniversary season in the National Hockey League, the Panthers travel to Dallas to take on the Stars on Thursday, Oct. 3. Coverage starts at 8:30 p.m. with PANTHERS LIVE and the FOX Sports Florida pregame show.
The Panthers will open their home schedule with a special “throwback” BB&T Center opener on Friday, Oct 11 at 7:30 p.m. against the first regular season home opponent in franchise history – the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Play-by-play announcer Steve “Goldie” Goldstein returns, alongside 14-year NHL veteran Bill Lindsay as color analyst, to provide viewers with expert commentary throughout the season.

The popular INSIDE THE PANTHERS series returns and will feature player profiles and episodes offering behind-the-scenes access to other aspects of the team and its operations -- all designed to bring the fans closer to their favorite team. There are six new episodes tentatively scheduled to air throughout the upcoming season.
