Florida Panthers Chanukah On Ice Set For Wednesday, Nov. 27
Biggest Chanukah Party in South Florida will take place during Panther-Rangers game
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Panthers (@FlaPanthers) Chanukah On Ice Celebration will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 27 when the Panthers host the New York Rangers at 7:30 p.m.
The festivities begin with Cantor Yossi Lebovics singing the national anthem before the game. A giant menorah will be lit on the BB&T Center ice during the game’s first intermission followed by a performance by the Maccabeats – a premiere Jewish a capella group. Glatt Kosher Food will be available for purchase and a T-shirt is included with each ticket package. Chocolate gelt will be given out to all children who attend the event. The Maccabeats will also perform a postgame concert on the JetBlue Tarmac.
