Florida Panthers To Make Holiday Hospital Visits Today
Florida Panthers players, executives, Stanley C Panther & Redline Lady Panthers will visit various local hospitals
SUNRISE, Fla. — Sunrise Sports & Entertainment today announced that the Florida Panthers (@FlaPanthers) organization will make visits to three local hospitals today to distribute gifts and goodie bags to the children for the holidays.
“We are excited to be doing our annual holiday hospital visits with the players, personalities and staff again this year,” said Panthers President and CEO, Michael Yormark (@PanthersYormark). “It’s extremely important to the Panthers organization to give back and hopefully we can lift some spirits during the holiday season.”
Defenseman Mike Weaver and forward Brad Boyes will visit Chris Evert Children’s Hospital (1:30-2:30 p.m.), Stanley C. Panther, the Lady Panthers and Panthers executives will visit Doctor’s Hospital (Baptist Health; 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.), while defenseman Erik Gudbranson and forward Shawn Matthias, along with Yormark and Vice President of Hockey Operations & Special Projects Travis Viola, visit Joe DiMaggio’s Children Hospital (3-4 p.m.). Panthers players will hand out goodie bags as well as blankets to kids as part of the NHL’s “Biggest Assist Happens Off The Ice” campaign.
