Florida Panthers Alumni Association To Hold "Try Hockey" Clinic At Palm Beach Skate Zone On Jan. 12
Upcoming clinics for both children and adults to continue throughout the NHL season at various South Florida locations.
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Panthers (@FlaPanthers) Alumni Association will host their third “Try Hockey” Clinic this Sunday Jan. 12 at the Palm Beach Skate Zone in Lake Worth. The session for children will be held at 10 a.m. and the session for adults will be held at 11 a.m.
Panthers alumnus and current FOX Sports analyst Bill Lindsay will headline Sunday’s clinic along with local youth hockey coaches.
The clinics are intended for first time hockey participants of all ages.
The first two clinics were held at the Saveology.com Iceplex on Nov. 24 and Kendall Ice Arena on Dec. 21.
“We are extremely excited to continue our Panthers Alumni Try Hockey clinics around South Florida,” said Panthers VP of Broadcasting & Alumni Randy Moller. “The first two clinics have been a huge success and we are excited to continue to grow the game of hockey in South Florida.”
Hosted at the Panthers Rink Coalition arenas throughout South Florida, the next Try Hockey Clinic following Sunday’s clinic will be held at the Palm Beach Ice Works on Feb. 8, with sessions at 4:45 p.m. (children) and 5:45 p.m. (adults).
The final Try Hockey Clinic is scheduled for March 8 at the Glacier Ice and Snow Arena, with sessions at 5:20 p.m. (children) and 6:30 p.m. (adults).
