Ten Panthers Storylines to Look Forward to For Next Season
With the release of the 2014-15 Florida Panthers schedule there are a lot of games to get excited about. Here are ten storylines to keep an eye on during the upcoming NHL season.
1. Crashing the Lightning's Party
The Cats will begin their 21st NHL season up the road in Tampa Bay on October 9, where they will take on the Lightning in what will be the season opener for both Sunshine State teams. The Cats will look to take back the Governors Cup, which will be contested over four meetings. If Jonathan Drouin makes the Lightning’s opening night roster, this will be the first matchup between the 2013 third overall pick (Drouin) and second overall pick (Florida’s Aleksander Barkov).
