| On Nov. 16, Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced that Cliff Viner and Stu Siegel assumed the roles of Co-Managing Partners of SSE, the Florida Panthers and the BankAtlantic Center. Under this new ownership structure, Viner is the club’s Chairman/Alternate Governor, while Siegel is the CEO/NHL Governor. |

Hats Off To Them

| With his three goal effort on Jan. 3 vs. Pittsburgh, Radek Dvorak became the fourth Panthers player to record a hat trick in the season, joining Nathan Horton (Dec. 14 at NYI), Stephen Weiss (Dec. 2 vs. Colorado) and Steven Reinprecht (Oct. 30 at Dallas). In addition, it marked just the second time in the club's franchise history that four different players have recorded a hat trick in a single season for Florida. The only other time this occurred was during the 2005-06 season when Horton, Olli Jokinen, Jon Sim and Joe Nieuwendyk recorded hat tricks. |

One Heck Of A Day

| The Panthers collected their 500th victory in franchise history with a 3-2 shootout victory over Minnesota on Mar. 9. The first win in franchise history was Oct. 9, 1993 at Tampa Bay (2-0) while the team's 250th victory came on Oct. 26, 2001 against the LA Kings (3-2). The Panthers also set a new franchise low for shots against in a single game (including overtime) as they held Minnesota to just 11 shots en route to the victory. The previous mark was set when the Cats held the L.A. Kings to 12 shots during a 2-2 tie on Oct. 28, 1997. |

Unveiling The Den
|
| The Florida Panthers unveiled the Den of Honor prior to the club's game against the Buffalo Sabres on Mar. 20. The Den of Honor commemorates key figures in team history as well as the growth of youth and high school hockey in South Florida. Brian Skrudland, Scott Mellanby, Bill Linsday, Paul Laus and other notable Panther alumni appeared at the Den's opening. |
