Attention South Florida Educators!
The Florida Panthers are pleased to announce the launch of the Teacher of the Month program! This is a six-month program that will allow educators in the South Florida area to be recognized for their accomplishments and impact on students and fellow staff members!
Beginning October 2011 and proceeding through March of 2012, one teacher will be selected each month as the Florida Panthers’ “Teacher of the Month”. Each honoree will be rewarded with a surprise visit from Stanley C. Panther, and will receive a commemorative certificate as well as a set of tickets to a Panthers home game, where they will be recognized during the game in which they attend.
To nominate a teacher, please fill out the nomination form completely below. Any teacher who is currently employed by a school (kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, vocational, special education) in the South Florida area is eligible to be nominated. College, graduate and student teachers are not eligible.

- WHO CAN BE NOMINATED: Any teacher who is currently employed by a school (kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, vocational, special education) in the South Florida area. College, graduate and student teachers are not eligible.
- WHO CAN DO THE NOMINATING: The nomination process is open to all students, parents, faculty, and administration of the teacher’s school.
- HOW TO NOMINATE A TEACHER: You can nominate a teacher by going to FloridaPanthers.com/Schools, click on the "Teacher of the Month" link, and fill out the nomination form completely.
- SELECTING THE TEACHER OF THE MONTH: The Florida Panthers will review all eligible nomination forms at the beginning of every month. There will be six selection periods (October – March), teachers may be nominated more than once if they are not selected for a certain month
- ANNOUNCEMENT/AWARDS/DONATIONS: a. One Teacher will be selected each month from October 2011 through March 2012 with a total of six (6) Teachers of the Month chosen. b. The school's principal will be contacted to verify the eligibility and the qualifications of the teacher. c. Each Teacher of the Month will be rewarded with a surprise visit from Stanley C. Panther and will receive a commemorative certificate. Additionally, each teacher will be given a set of tickets to a Panthers home game, where they will be recognized during the game in which they attend.
