“In working with the Broward Health Foundation to make this donation, we are making a strong statement that any child or family struggling with this horrible disease is not alone in their fight. Our players, coaches, staff, executives and the Foundation are committed to supporting them in any way possible, and the wonderful new Panthers-themed graphics in the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital pediatric oncology unit will serve as a suitable reminder of that pledge.”
The Florida Panthers continues their support of the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital’s oncology unit by bringing holiday cheer to all the children on the 8th floor. Panther players, Stanley C. Panther and the front office staff set up desserts, arts & crafts, and games around the holiday season for all the children and families in the hospital. To top it all off Santa Claus stops by and hands out presents to every child on the floor.
The Foundation and the Players are exciting to continue their visits to the 8th Floor Pediatric Oncology Unit into the 2012-13 season.
