FOUNDATION AMBASSADOR: CJ
| CJ George was diagnosed with Stage 3 pediatric cancer when he was just 9 years old. CJ immediately went from being an active kid who loved playing sports to enduring two years of chemotherapy in a battle for his life. During treatment, CJ set two very personal and challenging goals; to survive and live to share his story in order to help others in the fight against cancer, and to play ice hockey! Having never stepped foot on the ice or spoken publicly before, CJ can proudly say he has achieved both! Now at age 13 and in remission, CJ plays hockey at Saveology.com Iceplex where he encourages his teammates to be grateful for every minute on the ice and he travels the country sharing his powerful story to raise awareness and support for pediatric cancer survivors like himself whose lives have been dramatically touched by cancer. We are proud to have CJ George as the Ambassador for the Florida Panthers Foundation. He represents our mission and helps bring awareness to the community and offers support to other families battling pediatric cancer. -With Gratitude, The Board of Directors and staff of the Florida Panthers Foundation |
