JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS:
- Prospects new business opportunities and services existing group ticket accounts for the Florida Panthers and BB&T Center.
- The ability to create a program and utilize time management skills in order to achieve a successful year to year program.
- Spends time on the road dropping off fliers for specific theme night programs
- Generates group ticket sales revenue for BB&T Center events including concerts, family shows and hockey.
- Assists in research and development of target marketing programs and events to promote events including hockey, concerts and family shows.
- Assists with creative concepts for production and distribution of group sales materials including grass root fliers and all other support materials.
- Oversee promotional mailings and mailing lists on behalf of the Group Sales Department.
- Processes ticket orders through TicketMaster and Archtic’s systems.
- Performs administrative duties including email correspondence, filing, copying, faxing, and note taking.
- Assists with other group duties as assigned.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Sales and cold-calling experience a plus
- Ability to work nights & weekends ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Energetic, enthusiastic, competitive and committed to a career in sports
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic & desire to be successful in the field of sports sales
- Ability to effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects, and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment.
- Proven written and presentation skills
- Ability to speak publicly on behalf of the BB&T Center and Florida Panthers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Bilingual a plus
