The Florida Panthers participated in several programs designed to raise money for charity during the 2007-08 season. The totals below are final figures to be donated to charity this year.

The Florida Panthers Foundation will donate $500 to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital for every Panthers goal scored at the BankAtlantic Center during the 2007-08 season. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is a preferred beneficiary of the Florida Panthers Foundation.
Current Total: 108 goals x $500 = $54,000

Panthers Defenseman
Cory Murphy will donate $100 for each Panthers goal scored during the month of October. Additionally, Murphy has pledged $250 for each goal and $100 for each assist that he records from the month of November to the end of the Panthers season. All funds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Foundation to fund breast cancer research.
